So you were mad that rates changed over 3 months and also that you didn’t even CHECK what the rate was when you signed????
I wish there was a way for businesses to rate customers so that we could know who we were dealing with in advance.
In my business, we will raise rates if we feel the customer is a pita. If they walk, so be it.
I got the exact same rates, actually lower when I refinanced the loan. If anything the rates were better. Even if the rates had gone up he should of been up front with the customer, he was not, he was shady or just bad at his job. I know some people think these guys are their friends, they are not. This same guy kept trying to up sell extended warranties after I had told him multiple times that I never buy extended warranties, and he only stopped when I threaten to walk if he asked again. I am partially to blame because I trusted this scumbag and I even mentioned I was partially to blame in my reviews. Warning potential customers of this guy to check what he says he can get you vs what he actually gets you. Your logic is, something changes, don't tell the customer, hope they miss it, then demand 5 stars on a review?
I have purchased a bunch of vehicles over the years and I always check things like this. I was tired on this particular day, and was treated so well by the salesmen/dealership when we worked out the price, etc. I got lazy, won't happen again!
To your last point, you would never get my business I know what I qualify for before I walk in the door. The day they ran my credit I had over an 830 credit score, I had put down over half the total cost of the truck in cash. This guy claimed he could beat the rates I got. If he couldn't beat the rates he should of kept his mouth shut. I had it financed already through my credit union. He either LIED, was misleading, or just plain bad at his job. Unless you are selling something so rare that can not be bought somewhere else I am guessing you loose business often with your attitude.
