Secure storage during roadtrip?

Heavily considering the Gen3, coming from a Suburban. Family of 4, + dog. we do a lot roadtrips especially between DC and upstate NY. because of COVID and the with remote work and school capabilities we often travel with many computers.. laptops and desktops. How does everyone secure their computers when the cab is already full with kids and dog?

I use my Raptor for the same purpose and it's been perfect. Carries everything we need, super comfortable, and fun to drive/explore wherever we land.

I have a nice tonneau cover and everything goes into specific water resistant crates. Not really necessary, but extra protection and helps the pack/unpack. Measured it out so everyone has their own, I have one for my work setup (multiple monitors, etc.), and another for random family stuff. Also carry bikes most the time with a hitch mounted Thule rack.

One long trip we needed to bring more and I ended up just lashing three extra crates on top of the tonneau cover. Wasn't perfect for security when stopping at hotels, but was fine for that one trip. If we needed more space, I'd do the RSI Smartcap, but would rather just limit what we bring. Makes the whole trip easier.

I forgot to add: my truck is outside 24/7 and despite ridiculous Texas rain, storms, snow, etc., it has not leaked at all. I love it.
