Ok I created an extfat format on a 32GB drive. Down loaded the Ford official software, copy it on the USB drive and installed it on my 2017. All with well, now have Sync 3 Version 3, by the way I did notice minor differences.
Next day I get a message on display about a new software update available. I setup my phone as a hotspot and kept truck running. Not sure what happened, but appears another update has occurred, received message as such. As for the size it was a large download because I got a message on phone about exceeding data limit. I also copy the name of the download it is 103602.tar.gz, JR3T-14g423-CA. What do you think is happening?
