I don't have kids, but I do have an 80lb dog...I normally just buy a moving blanket from somewhere cheap like harbor freight, cut out 4 holes in the top where the headrest posts go, then put the headrest through the holes in the blanket and its a $10 seat cover.

We have a fancy one from Orvis in the wife’s Escalade. I bought a cheap one off Amazon that works just as well. We have three large dogs. Kids are also an issue — not nearly as much as the dogs.

No kids but 2 dogs, one about 90lbs. I got the carhartt seat covers that are waterproof (Probably just resistant). But I also have a dog hammock on top that is waterproof. Can always drop the hammock part and have people sit normal on that as well since there are Velcro spots to allow seatbelts thru

I recently bought and installed the one from 4knines for my dog, and I like it. She stands or sits on the rear seat when installed in a manner referred to as a hammock. But you can lower the "hammock" and the floor would be available for dogs or people's feet. I like how it also protects the doors and comes with a seatbelt tether that connects to a separately purchased harness intended for securing the dog so she won't go flying during a crash. But I would recommend using a regular seat cover for kids...lol.

For winter with kids, Wet Okole truck seat covers are fantastic. I’ve had mine for a couple of seasons now, and they’ve held up really well. They’re custom fit, so they stay put and protect the seats from all the dirt and moisture that winter brings. The material is easy to clean, which is a must with kids.
