For anyone who doesn't need or want the Nanny chime. Did mine right after I bought it in 2019.

If you have a farm or something, it's nice. I know it works on Gen 2, putting this out there for any Gen 3 owners to see if it works.

Well, I followed this to a tee, and although it appeared to take, it did not and still chimes. But maybe I screwed something up. Gen2/2019 application.

I had trouble with this in the Raptor as well. I tried it 2 or 3 times. I finally went back in with FORSCAN and killed that the other remaining chimes. Problem solved.
FYI, my Lincoln uses a very similar procedure to disable the seat belt minder, and it did take me 2x but I was successful at getting that one done without using FORSCAN.

I have done this with my Raptor in the first 10 min of owning it. You have to do the driver and passenger seat separately btw.

easy to do. no forscan needed.
yeah, no.

While the procedure in the manual is intricate and can be done, sometimes it just doesn’t work. IIRC, I had the dealer try to do it and they failed as well, despite the indicator that it was disabled which is what prompted me to recommend using FORSCAN to disable it - and the other chimes as well.

So, you have nothing to lose by trying the documented procedure other than some time and frustration. It may work. It may not work though.
