Looks good Dane. Mine was a bitch too. I still need to add the write up.

How much weight did your setup add to the truck?

Did you see any deflection in the plate during use? I didn't see any guests on the mount plate.

I haven't weighed it, but I figure it has to be in the 80-90 pound range. I didn't notice any deflection in the plate during use, but it wouldn't be easy to see either.

I used it to pull myself up a sand hill after I had broken my axle and also to pull out a buggy that had sunk in the sand to its frame (plus a few other times). Both were sizable pulls that went off without issues.

Good deal. Just like me, I'm sure your really happy to have it. I got to use mine twice at the little Sahara run. Loved it. RW posted some video of us using it. Page 1 or 2 I think.

Do you have a thread on your axle? What happened there??

Dane, mine came into today. Gonna tackle this over the weekend along with the Rigid lights. I'll weigh the plates themselves and post 'em up. Oddly mine showed in a bombproof box filled with peanuts. :whymewhyme:

I know this is an old thread but I am looking at a hidden winch mount for my 14. I am going to look at winches at lunch today. How about that light bar behind the grill? I was wanting to put a light bar up front but with the winch there, it limited the light bar install. Do you still get a lot of light coming through the grill? - Chris
