SDHQ front bolt-on Raptor bumper

Could the front skidplate be widened as shown? This would allow it to flow with the edges of the grill and the factory skid plate. I like a wider look so could the bottom supports be modded as indicated?l

Funny. Great minds think alike :mrgreen: I suggested that very thing - widening the vented plate - yesterday so it covers the frame end covers.

Yeah... I had actually sketched something very similar a few weeks ago.

I like how you've maintained to stock skid also. But if I zoom in close it looks like there's a lip where the stocker protrudes out beyond your skidplate? If I have that right, doesn't that create a grab point when skidding?

J, the lip on the stocker rolls upwards BEHIND the replacement skidplate in the same way that is does behind the stock front bumper.

Unless i am way off all you would have to do to leave your stock hooks in place is notch the corners of the skid plate.

That is great bumper there! Just a suggestion, how about installing it with LED bumper guides? it will help you see tight parking spots.
