Great to hear and congrats on the new awakening! I've been hearing alot of good things about the 5 Star tune but, I've also always been a firm believer in having a custom tune done for your own truck in your everyday environment.
cody always does freaking amazing work and if i can talk him into it i want him to tune my v6. hopefully now that my dad got a 5.0 hell take it to cody and get me an in with him lol
Half the information you were told flat wrong. You can command the the truck to lock the converter in any gear through the tuner or like the Mustang 5R55 once the truck realizes your doing a dyno pull if in drive it will hold 4th gear for the pull. SCT has had calibration out for the 6.2L since the first 2011 Super Duties rolled out of Kentucky so I don't understand why there was such a long wait for something that was already there. Off road mode is an add on to the base tune and its not marked in the in the tuning software because they really don't know which one it is out of the 38 different shift tables that these trucks have. F-150s are nothing like Mustangs you honestly have specialize in them to understand them. Ford make release a half dozen different strategys for Mustangs and 30 or so for the F-150.
