There are numerous threads and videos on accessing the latch on a SCREW.
None helpful that I could find on the SCAB.
The difference is that when you raise the SCAB seat bottom,
the back does not move out and provide more clearance.
The result is a very tight fit for my hand and tools and no visibility.
Does anyone have any amazing tips ?
Thanks very much !

Somebody on the F150 forum suggested removing the bolt from the side of the seat. I haven't tried it yet, but it's worked for others.

I’m not sure about the Raptors, buy my Dads SCAB XLT already had a nylon strap that you could pull to release the seat. It was tucked down behind the seat and he couldn’t see it, but with a little fumbling around, we found it.

It’s a small little strap with a plastic tab on the end and in reading other threads, the often times fall off and drop down behind the seat. Anyways... once you have that strap, put an extension on it.

Here’s a video that might help you.

my 2019 I fashioned a loop out of 1/8 in aluminum welding wire, and fished it down and was able to catch the latch and open it. My Sh!thooks are to big to fit behind that seat. Honestly it wasn't worth the effort, B and O amplifier takes up most of the space.

The problem with scabs is the seat does not move like the screws, so it's a super tight reach. Here are some pics so you can visualize what you can't see from the closed perspective. Remove the headrest for starters. Then you either need a skinny arm or need to use a wire or some tool to snag the metal latch end and pull up (See yellow arrow in pic below, that is the latch end). Once I got it released, I just and modified a spare lanyard I had for a permanent grab handle. A decent amount of space behind the seat. I use it to keep a few tow straps.

After looking at Big Blue's pics and seeing exactly where the latch was located I reached down and grabbed the strap and pulled it and it released the seat back. On my 2020 there is a 3" ******** the latch.
I attempted this on my 2017 about a year ago but I was reaching in the wrong spot and couldn't find the latch so I gave up.

Thanks everyone.
I did find the short strap as it came off in my hand.
I try to get back there and use it.
The problem also is that the pin is not sticking out very far.
Feels like just the width of the head, so not much go grab onto.
