I'm thinking I may wanna yank my TPMS out and do this also. Whenever I air-down offroad in my 2010 the ********* ************* infuriating pile-of-shit sonofabitch frustrating bastard "LOW TIRE PRESSURE" ratfuck flashing warning always screws with my ability to fully disable traction control. As you can see, I'm more than a little annoyed by it. I can hold that button for over 60 seconds and it doesn't seem to wanna fully disable when that warning light is going off.

Madcow, maybe you can make me one and we'll see if it makes it through the mail. :)

Take a deep breath brother its going to be okay.. Mellllooowww oouuutttt...

I'm guessing you haven't run into this problem yet??
I love this truck, but this particular situation I'm describing has made me wanna punch the windshield at times.

....is it so much to ask to be able to air-down the tires AND fully disable traction control in a purpose-built offroad truck?

Need some help. I left my little cannister with my pressurized sensors at home the other day by accident. So naturally, my tire pressure sensor fault message came on.

So today I stuck it back in the truck and drove around all day but the damn message won't go away. Do I need to reset something?

And I checked cannister pressure and it's holding steady at 40 psi.

The new fords have an option the tire pressure can be changed at when the light will set it this will help anyone. I'm not positive on the range of f-150 but superduties are set to 75 factory and can be reprogrammed all the way down to 30psi. All you need is take it to dealership and they can reprogram the tire sensors for lower pressure before light goes on.

Good to know, gonna see about having this done. The way that warning light interferes with traction control on the 2010s is a nightmare.

Hopefully they'll be able to set it pretty low, like maybe 15-20psi

Just got back from dealership...Tech tried relearn process but it would only read 3 of my sensors. So I have to cut my pipe bomb apart and make a new one. Said to bring all of it to dealership, he'll reset the sensors individually, I'll seal them inside my new cannister and air it up.

This could have all been avoided if I had kept the sensors with the truck the whole time. Lesson learned.

Thanks for adding your follow-up for the rest of us.

Think I'm gonna try the dealership way first, see if they can reset it to where the tires have to be VERY low to trip the sensors... If that doesn't work I'll be copying Madcow's Adventures in the PipeBomb Business.
