We run the Baja Peninsula and end up having to carry 2 weeks worth of gear and a substantial quantity of malted beverage. I designed the rack to use the factory bed bolts, carry a spare, 2 action packers and a 65 quart Yetti cooler that I got from Treypal. Finished in LineX to match the bed.

I got a chance to see this rack in person at TRR and really like the simplicity of it. Do you think there is room for a NATO jerry can in between the tire and the bed? I forgot to check that out when I saw it.

A tad disappointed... Read the thread title and thought you meant something like in the back of this land cruiser.

Now that would be cool! ;-)

I have the older version with the 55 qt yeti and I love this rack I think it's the best for everyday use. I will agree it could use a holder for a gas can but I still love it looks good and very useful. And the guys that make it are good guys and if your lucky enough you can tag along in baja with them.
