I wonder if the power steering pump or rack are still in it. Seems like I'm perpetually in need of a new PS pump and my rack has a lot of play in it now.

I just bought a 2020 Raptor and took it off-roading on the second day.

You are correct, they are hard to start without the chip key. People do all sorts of dumb stuff, like leave a spare in the center console, leave keys in their pocket at a coat check, get their purse stolen, sketchy parking attendants. If you can imagine a way someone can lose keys, I am sure it has happened.

I just bought a 2020 Raptor and took it off-roading on the second day. My friend lives in a rural area East County San Diego. It has endless off roading and is bordering Mexico.

About 10 miles in, we came across a Gen 2 SCAB that had been stolen, stripped, flipped (then stripped some more) and left for dead. The Sheriff's couldn't get to it until they brought in the helicopter.
