What is the best ground location of the 2 locations in the picture? I saw a video that was using the bolt to the left of the upfitter wires (circle on the right) but it doesn’t look like it goes to the frame. I am use to the ground looking like the circle on the left.

I used the one on the left in your picture to ground a wire harness for 6 BD lights.

Left on the fender. That's an OEM ground and will work for all AUX switches. That's where we do all of our grounds.

if its a factory ground point, then no, its not wrong to use.

Before I saw everyone's response, I went ahead and hooked it up to the firewall bolt next to the up fitter wires. Does the fact that it is working indicate it is a ground or am I ******** something up by using it. Nope any of those will work. All of my lights are grounded to those bolts actually on my truck. It bolts to metal so it's a fine ground to use
