S.E. TRR convoy??

Will do. We'll know more closer to the run. Last year we met up in Weatherford, west side of the Metroplex, around 9:00 AM. Some people stayed the night there and others got up early to meet us there. From there it's just a 3 hour drive.

Guys, we are now three months was from convoy departure. Isn't it about time to start mapping our routes, meeting places, fuel stops, mid-point camping locations, etc., etc., etc.???

This is perfect depending on the date you guys plan on leaving I just might have to meet up with you guys somewhere along the way! Ill be driving from fort benning Georgia so somewhere in Louisiana is probably the best place for me to meet up with you guys depending on the rout.

Here's a screen shot of the rout ill be taking its pretty much I-20 all the way across. I'm not sure what rout you guys will be taking but if you cut up to Shreveport we could possibly meet up there then head to the west end of Dallas to meet with those guys there depending on the dates that everyone else is meeting in Dallas. Could be one epic convoy like last year haha.. Keep me posted on Fred an routs and we can work it all out now before we run outa time we only have 3 months guys lol

Here is the route I was contemplating. Lafayette to Dallas is about 5 1/2 hours. So we would have to get out of Lafayette at around 3:30am to make the 9am Dallas convoy link up on Thursday morning.
Or we link up with imdubious in Lafayette and drive a few more hours (maybe Shreveport to meet up with Pat) to get us closer to Dallas on Wednesday night.
These are just some of my initial thoughts to kick off the discussion.

Yea from Shreveport to Dallas is about 3 hours so if you guys picked up imdubious early enough to meet up in Shreveport we could stay the night there and get up and leave around 530 or so to have enough time to link up with the Guys in Dallas. Just my .02 cents lol has anyone started a Dallas convoy thread? If so then maybe we could talk to whoever is heading that up and coordinate it with them.
