My first post....whoo hoo!

I've been browsing this site for a while and the information on it is superb. one thing I have been looking for and cannot find however is pictures of how to run a power cable from the battery to the rear of the truck.

I have a plan of fitting some flush mounted bumper lights using a relay and and Aux switch along with some LED cargo lights.
ideally I would like some advice on routing the power cable from the battery rather than going on my own trial and error.

Thanks!

Just extend from the outfitter wire along frame to rear. If you wanted 12 volt there should be a 12 volt usually through the trailer plug for charging trailer while towing, but I have not verified that one yet....

I ran a wire in the passenger side frame rail as well. I have a fuse block under my dash for my extra stuff that I do not want to run thru the AUX switches. I have emergency (Blue Lights) but I also added bed lights and reverse lights (Work light function needed power) If your going to run a wire don't just run one wire. Get a wire with 3, 4, or 5 conductors so you have some options in the future. I spiced into mine mid frame to get some blue lights on the running boards. My next mod is a combination puddle light / rock light that shines from the driver side frame to the passenger side and vice versa so I can see left and right when making a tight turn in the dark. ( and it looks cool )

Thanks for the advice all, I got under the truck today and it makes sense to go through the frame rails.
