I'm planning on swapping mine to have the Raptor up front also. Looks better and will keep solids from building up from going thru the holes.

Everyone should do what they like, I personally think they look better the way they come and block more debris kicked up by the front wheels. But hey 6 of 1, or half dozen of another. It's all good. Make your truck the way you want it regardless of what others think. I guess it is nice they can be used in either direction based on preference.

I switched mine today, looks better. I think they will keep mud off the sides as there are now no holes where it used to come through. Be careful as I broke one bolt and use locktite.
Now I can tell other Raptor owners their steps are backwards. Lol
