HahahaI would say they were on backwards originally. Just by the holes they don't make sense. BUT I have a gen1 what do I know.. LOL

Wow yeah there ya go!They are on backwards! Watch the video then look at the picture of my wife’s Gen 2 SCAB. Notice how small the “front” section with holes is. That should be by the small rear door. Other than that, there’s no difference between the SCAB and SCREW running boards. Case closed.
