I have been extremely happy with my Roush. I purchased a leftover '18 Roush Raptor in the winter of '19 for original Truck sticker cost so all the upgrades at basically no additional cost. Mine also has the Fox 3.0 suspension upgrade. i also removed the mud splatter graphics which i thought looked kinda tacky.29897BE7-9CD0-4FF1-B30C-4C6010E9919C.jpeg

I really don't think the rest of the upgrades really matter and only add curb appeal. Don't think i would go for the package for the full up-charge cost, but if i came across the same deal again I would do it in a heartbeat.

I have since added a COBB/Goose tune, exhaust and just ordered an intercooler. All good so far and brings a smile to my face every time i drive it.

Love my ‘17 Shelby Baja!

Would I pay $120, probably not. But I bought new from dealer as leftover for $90. Totally worth it to me. Great daily driver, the accessories are fun to play with, and the mega lighting is actually useful where I live.

Shelby customer service has been exceptional! Small nuisance issues, no problems with the truck.

In short, head and shoulders above my 2012 6.2, and no regrets. No plan to sell (unless someone willing to pay enough!)

I did my build using a local Raptor shop, so I got exactly what I wanted and nothing more. Plus, I saved at least 50% over the inflated cost from any dealership or prepackaged offer. Having the extra cash and a very agreeable wife made the decision a no-brainer.

On the issue of cost, if you finance the build with the purchase, you will pay a lot more in interest because the early payments are mostly interest and based on the total amount financed.

Today I had lunch with my brother in-law and was talking about some of my nephews vehicles. My nephew purchased a 2018 6 wheel abortion of a raptor from Hennessey. Needless to say but there has been some problems/issues with the truck. My brother in-law has repeatedly called the shop and they say “it’s a ford warranty issue “ to everything that is mentioned. So far just minor things. The person on the phone gets frustrated and asks exactly what truck his is referring to. When they found out who my nephew is they start singing a different tune. So apparently it only matters who you are and not the fact that you spent a ton of money with them. Terrible customer service!!!!!!

I saw a Shelby Baja Raptor IRL for the first time today. It was nice, but not 50k more than my truck nice. I’ll mod my truck the way I want and save a bundle.
