I like the way they re attached the rubber flap. I don't think the SDHQ winch plate takes this into consideration.

I used heavy duty zip ties to reattach the flap. Looking under the skid on my truck looks 100% stock. Once you are in there, its easy to see what needs to be done.

Looks really good. Just added this to my list of mods now due to your craftsmanship......was considering a light bar in that location but would much rather have a winch.

Nicely done. Let us know how it works when that snow comes in.....

ok...this is what I am looking for. Going shopping at the off road shop around the corner at lunch. Looks clean and just what I want. I saw the lights mounted on the side in a different thread and I might look into that also. I want to get one on there soon. That Georgia clay sucks.

I cannot recommend the RC winch plate for the raptor. It was originally made for regular F-150. Instructions are relatively poor and off course, do not mention you have to drop the skid plate.

Once installed, most bolts are too short up front to positively secure both shackles and skid plate mount. Need to use longer bolts for a proper and secure setup that has enough threads into the nuts. It is also very heavy.

Once installed and unlike other plates form ICI and other, it is too big, sticks too far out and obliterates the front of the Raptor bumper, as opposed to ending more discretely inside.

Just finished mine now for the winch

Do you have any photos of the install issues you've had?

Of course you'd have to drop the skid plate. The winch install instructions should have mentioned that.

Heavy? How so? You're adding a 60lbs + winch. The plate better be heavy.

If you are changing bolts, be sure to use grade 8 hardware.

Best of luck.
