Just throwing this out there. On my old 02 ford, the wheel weights placed on the inside of the rim would rub the brake dust sheild and create a rotational squeak. Just a thought.

Had my wheels balanced and rotated recently. I will have to look into this.

Yes it occurs frequently, the truck has 54,000 so I'm guessing I need new brake pads. I'll have the dealer check it out when I bring it in for service.

You were correct, the weights were rubbing on the edge of the caliper.
