trust me a i was quite concerned with this as well. i just dont get how the KC rack stays up, my mounts are twice the size of theirs and 3x the mounting bolts.

I think the force of air over the hood and up the windshield puts force downwards on the back of the mounts. If they are tight, they shouldn't come loose. Lots have complained of glare on the hood,etc, hence why so many use matt black on the hood. You are over building yours, pretty sure it will hold up. Great job as always.

Of coarse it’s dark out now. And so I “accidentally” dropped the wire harness onto the battery and the lights came on lol I just could t wait I really wanted to see what they look like. Will hook them into the switches tomorrow

Really not a lot of hood glare either
