Had the same issue. But the person who drilled the hole made it way too big. I ended up drilling another hole. Now I have two holes in my roof. I tried to seal the bigger hole with a rain cap but its leaking. Seems the only thing to keep things dry is gorilla tape, just don't look at it.

Do you have any photos of how this looks on you're roof? I want to see where the second hole is in regards to the original.
