the rear latch plates have the adjustment screw and thumb knob for the reason.
Screw them out to make the cover turn the latch cam fully which will lock the cover properly


New rails do not have adjustable screws.

I just had mine replaced under warranty

They are also wider so there is not the slop side to side.

I also moved the latches out further. Helps some but it still pops up off road.

I resorted to fastening two hoops to the bottom. I run bungee cords from them to the d rings on my bed mounts to keep it in place off road
