Do they affect the balance of the wheel?

Those are powder coated in a grey that very closely matches the OEM skid plate. Being made out of aluminum, they are very light weight and not known to throw any of the wheels/tires out of balance. They are designed to bolt straight onto the face of the wheel without separating the wheels from the tire. Remove the OEM bolts, hold these up the face, reattach with new supplied hardware.

They add around 2.5-3 pounds per corner as well.
