Thanks for exposing this.
Def would like to know the pros and cons. Shall I PM for # or you want to type it up for the review here?

Okay, so I've had this tablet for almost a couple months now. Paid for expedited shipping and received item in less then 2 weeks. I've heard horror stories from others on here waiting months and didn't want to go through it.
Packaging was superb, and quality out the box was impressive for the price.
After watching videos and reading through the forums I decided to tackle install myself, as I normally do with everything. Install went smooth enough. Disassembling parts from the old unit to insert into the new box was easy enough.
Wiring was somewhat of a pain, not in the sense of figuring where everything went, but in making sure there weren't clearance issues, or stretching cables to far. There is a bar behind the center stack that proved to be a bit in the way and had to navigate around it. Figured it out and no problem.
I never used android auto before installing and still dont, so can't comment on that part.
Pros- I added hotspot to my truck and now use Waze, it's already saved me from cops haha.
I downloaded Nova Launcher through the app store and home screen layout is better then it was out of the box. Very easy to navigate so I would recommend.
Amazon music is a nice touch with the album art and lyrics. Haven't had the chance to play around with other music apps yet but I'm sure they are all huge improvements over sync.
Ability to watch videos is A+
Being touchscreen controls for everything took some getting used to but completely worth it with how it cleans up the entire center stack and makes it look like it could be oem.
Load times on this tablet, as I have the fast boot, are super quick. Less then 10 seconds on a slow day and closer to 4-6 seconds normally
Screen size is enormous
There are obviously a ton of pros that I don't feel the need to mention as they are all probably the reason anyone would consider swapping to a larger screen. All in all, for me, the pros outweigh the cons listed below.
Cons- I have to have my phone Bluetooth on for it to play through the tablet. Could be a wiring error on my part or something else. A little annoying but not a big deal since I have Bluetooth on for calls and texts anyways when jumping in the truck 90% of the time.
The buttons for the hazard light, front camera and TCS don't all sit perfectly flush. I'm the only one who will notice, but my ocd kinda bugs me on this one
I can't for the life of me figure out how to set the time properly. I have changed the settings multiple times and it always shows being an hour ahead everytime I get back in the truck.
When going into reverse, it shows a car on screen.. so it basically makes it look like I have a BMW or whatever the car is as compared to how the sync system showed a raptor.
When installing, I don't think I looked for a mic boom, and have been told the audio during a phone call sounds a little worse then before on the sync system. User error more then likely, but in case it isn't figured it's worth mentioning.
A potential con worth mentioning- if you offroad or are on a bumpy road, it can be hard to hit the tablet buttons. Touchscreen vs actual buttons and dials. For all the steering wheel controls this isn't an issue, but you do lose that ability of easily changing controls quickly. I haven't ran into a situation where this would be an issue for me, but potential is there.
I feel that most of the issues I have can be corrected using Sergey firmware. I just haven't gotten around to emailing him yet as my issues are relatively small and want to make sure I get a full picture.
Common issues I've seen on other models, I don't have. The main issue would be the issue of having the sync brain and tablet brain not working well and having to reset, or swap back and forth to get audio to work. I literally jump in the truck and it automatically has the sync side loaded for audio, I just hit music and it swaps the the tablet and Amazon music right away.
