Looking to get some 4" lights to go on both sides of the license plate. Looking for opinions on the whelen micro pioneer vs. the rigid 4" e series. Looks like the best price for the whelens are $258 each and about $199 for the rigids. Not sure which has the best output and ligth pattern.

Take a look into the M&R 8pack. This particular model has eight 10W CREE lights and produces 6,500 lumens.

I have the Whelens there and love them. They come with four interchangeable lenses - spot, flood, wide flood and horizontal flood. They fit the sides of the front license plates perfectly. Haven't send the Rigid e-series in that location but can't imagine it being brighter than the Whelens.

Vote for Whelen lights. No water issues, 3600 lumens, great WSI mount available, cheaper than the mr pack.

We have the Whelens and they are the brightest of all our offroad lights... We love them.

Just helped Orangeaddict and Witchywoman install a similar set-up

Whelen. Made in USA from USA components. Not just assembled in USA from foreign parts. There's a reason that Whelen is so popular with emergency first responders and law enforcement.

I am extremely happy with the output and durability of my Whelen lights.
