I originally installed a pair of Rigid Ignite flush mounts. They were great for added reverse lighting. However, I was still needing more functional light in the back of the truck at night. Nick over at Apollo Optics recommended I try these. I was a little hesitant at first because of their size and the small amount of real estate our rear bumpers have compared to the Gen 1's. I'm very happy with how the install turned out. Here's some pics for those who have been contemplating running these on their trucks. I went with the red back-lit option to match all of the other red DOT lighting. I tied these into my trailer's reverse pin and also to AUX#6, so I had the ability to turn them ON/OFF whenever. The pics don't do justice, but the light spread is perfect. I also had all of the hardware anodized black to match the rest of the Rigid lights I installed up front on the ADD PRO front bumper. 1.jpg

That looks really good! I've been toying with the idea of doing something similar using the flush mount D-series Pro Midnight diffused. I even picked up all the pieces of stock rear bumper a while back so I wouldn't trash my original bumper if it didn't work out. What kind of clearance do you have behind the lights?

Thanks brotha! The Midnights were my other choice, but I opted for the brighter output. As long as you prep/tape everything up, use the template, and measure twice you should be fine. After cutting I de-burred everything and then applied paint to the raw edges.

There is plenty of clearance behind the lights and all of the wiring you need to tap into is right there. For the Rigid flush mounts though this really is the only spot to place them on our bumpers for ease of flatness. Any other spot it just didn't work and I didn't want a large gap between the gasket provided and the bumper when the hardware was torqued down. I also applied some black RTV to ensure a perfect seal and to close up any small gaps.

I buy all of my lighting products from Nick@ApolloOptics. He's a supporting vendor on here and has always given me the best price.

As far as install goes, me and my buddy did it. He has more free time on his hands than I do currently, but feel free to hit him up for all your lighting/wiring install needs: www.facebook.com/hdcircuitry

This project turned out absolutely killer, @RaptorUSN, I'm glad we got to work with you on it. And I love the red glow at night that keeps it legal and matches the rest of the truck.

@Thumpzilla44 - We'd be happy to get you setup with these lights and I'd recommend the guys over at KHC for install. They're friends of ours from the multiple TRRs we've attended together and they're more than capable of getting you what you need.

@Jr24 - The Midnight Edition lights would be great for a setup. Especially with the new Rigid Midnight Edition Spot Diffused lights. However, we went with the Radiance Scene due to the brighter output and the cool ambient lights. Let me know if we can help you put this setup together!
