I have a 40" and 20" E series rigid light bars, the 20" from the start has been acting up. Lights up but very dim, need to flick the aux switch a few times in order to get it to work fully... I have an extra harness I am going to switch out but am also thinking of tieing both bars together, would they both work off one aux switch? Anyone done it?

It would depend on the amperage of the 2 bars and on which auxiliary switch you wire them up. The aux switches have different amperage and I don't know what they are. Perhaps someone else can chime in to help you with this.

Aux switches 1 or 2 are 30 Amp, 3 is 15 Amp and 4 is 10 Amp. The Rigid E-Series Light Bars amp draw is 11.8 for the 40" and 5.9 for the 60". With a combined total amp draw of less than 18 amps, you can easily run both lights using Aux switch 1 or 2.

Sweet good to know, I shall give it a go on my next days off work. I just have the 40" on #1 right now and 20" on #2.

Not sure if you guys would warranty me since I've lost the warranty cards I was supposed to fill out and send back from the get go haha. I've had these lights over a year, just never have used the 20" from the start since it was acting up since install, I believe it is not the bar its self though because I plugged it into the 40" harness and it worked fine. I've just never gotten around to swapping out to the new harness since I always get side tracked doing something else or working and end up forgetting about it. But, going to run some tests here soon to narrow the problem down for sure. If the harness that is on it now is hooped for sure and not worth tieing into the 40" off the one switch i will swap it out with the new one and run it off the other aux AND if that fails then i'll be looking for more help.

Got it working out of no where, tugged on the harness a little cause it was in the way of something and it just started working. Guessing it was just overly pinched somewhere along the line. Anyways leaving it as with each on one AUX till something messes up then I'll tap it into one, unless its the actual light that goes by then haha.
