Ok thanks everyone. Looks like the consenses says get D2's for the road and the 20" for the offroad. Fine by me.

D2's on the road will **** people off. They put out a lot of light but the driving pattern does not have a clean cut line. If you don't care about tickets of someone giving you a brake check go for it. I will be adding a set of PIAA 510's for my street use and keep the Rigids strictly for offroad.

True, but the D2 Driving beam has more of a cut-off than any other beam from Rigid. At least they are easier to aim downward to make sure they aren't in the drivers eyes, moreso than a flood, per say

Well, I dont think any lights by Rigid are meant for ON road use. If you want a drastic difference in on road lighting, why dont you replace your ****** stock headlights with HID. It was the SINGLE BEST MOD I have done to this truck thus far. I have a Rigid 40" and it doesnt light up the road much better than the HIDs Ducati has made for a bunch of us. (The forum member, not the bike company) I havent been flashed a single time, and can SEE!

I recommend the D2 driving beam i have 4 of them on my Super Duty and let me tell you its a night and day difference. You really dont need anymore light then that unless your doing some serious offroading at high speeds
