Wonder why they left the bed stock and didn't line-x or put a bed-rug or somthing else. Other than that WOW

Hood release is on the passenger side, wonder why thy didn't change that over?

Because the bcm is on the other side and to reconfigure the whole wiring harness and mounting the bcm facing the side wall would be very time consuming.
