Yah I think the whole truck, bed, bumpers ect cost me 4 or 5 hundred when all said and done. At the time local shops wanted like 1,800+ to do it with line-x/rhino. It was always fun to see people scratch their arms on the lined bushwacker fender flares.

Wow 1800 for the whole truck? Dam that seems low considering, my rear bumper was 220.00

Well shit, if I wanted to do this, I could really get any color Raptor I wanted. What about the inside of the door jambs and tailgate, shit like that?

ADD did this to one of their trucks. There are pics around here somewhere. It may have been one of their SEMA trucks.

any calcs on what weight it adds?

8 lbs a gallon. im a little rusty on my clicks per gallon measurements. its not more weight than it can handle though. weight shouldnt be a concern. this stuff isnt armor plating! honestly we usually spray the exterior a little thinner than the beds. if you spray as thick as a bed, sometimes you get undesirable results. we spray it thick enough to protect, but thin enough to keep the contours of the truck intact.

Shit only 8lbs a gallon? wow I would have thought more. Im telling ya that rear bumper I had done is stout now with the coating. So what, 15 gallons for a entire truck?

that goes back to the whole ton of bricks vs a ton of feathers joke. its still a liquid before it gets sprayed on. when the 2 chemicals combine it becomes a solid.
