You actually sat down with the salesperson and GM or whoever and placed the order at the dealership and gave them your DL and email? I only ask because that's exactly what I did. Just kind of preparing myself for the scenario where mine is posted on their website LOL.
I did it all over the phone and e-mail, but yes, signed papers and put deposit down with email and copy of my DL. I had a retail order.

My dealer emailed me back this morning and they stated it has my name all over it. I am leaving out of town to Charlotte for the track day down there mid October which is when I expect the truck to arrive and so do they. The dealer I have been working with has been great all along for last years purchase as well as the Raptor. Just a bit shocking to see your truck online that you ordered lol....too many horror stories about things going wrong with the dealer after waiting for months to take delivery got the best of me.

Define downstate. If you are from Westchester or Dutchess County, downstate is everything south of Albany. If you are from the city, everything north of Manhattan is upstate, lol.

Thats true....for me downstate is anything white plains and city. Albany is the Capital region where all the idiots hang out and find new ways to tell others what to do.

Mine was a dealer stock order. They dealership called me up when they were allowed to make their orders and asked me what I wanted. I configured their stock order to my specifications. This was all done basically with a “handshake”. When the truck was about to enter production it showed up on the dealership’s website automatically. When it was in production they called me and asked for a deposit because they were getting so many calls on it. I readily agreed to this. Shortly after putting the deposit down ($500) the Raptor was removed from their website. The truck arrived, my salesman called me, and I’ve been living happily ever after with my Raptor. 1B3469DD-5036-4B5C-8BA8-74BDB750064D.jpeg

So I saw this on the Bronco Ford website, I know it is about Bronco's, but it also matches up with what my dealer told me about my unscheduled, Clean 2021 Raptor order.
I don’t have a scheduled production date yet: As a result of continued roof challenges, we will be producing fewer 2021 MY Bronco vehicles than initially planned. If your two- or four-door Bronco hardtop vehicle order has not been scheduled for production yet, except for First Edition, you will be receiving a 2022 MY Bronco vehicle. More details on 2022 MY ordering will be available in the coming months. 2022 MY production is forecasted to begin in late December 2021. As a reminder, your reservation timestamp will remain with your order for scheduling priority in 2022 MY.
