That’s sad but true. Over half the Raptors for sale on autotrader are sitting at Ram dealers. All those trade ins on the TRX. The other half are at vroom, Carvana, and Carnac it seems.

I am reluctantly thinking of just getting the TRX myself, much to the dismay I’ll get here on this forum. Dealer in IA is doing $5,000 off msrp for 22 orders, and Ram added a 3rd shift as they aren’t having chip issues at their plant (yet). First 2022 TRX build scheduled for July 6th and people who are ordering are getting VIN’s within 2 days and scheduled build dates. Hopeful if this is the route I take that the R will not be insanely priced down the road and trade values will be decent on the TRX. That would be “if the stars align.”

Alittle confused when you say wholesale orders. Does that mean we can't order are Raptors on 6/10?

You aren't alone. My TRX arrives this week, and I know at least a few other FRF members have gone TRX route too.

My plan is the same: enjoy the V8, then reevaluate when/if the Raptor R ever makes an appearance.

I'm actually hoping the R is pushed back far enough to the first mid-cycle F150 refresh so some new features are added, like HUD etc. That would probably be 2023? We'll see.
