I'm looking for a reputable car audio installer. I spend decent $$$ on the new stereo equipment, I want a highly rated, reliable shop to do the install. I'm in Princeton, NJ area.

Thanks.

yes, do it yourself. a lot of shops dont care about quality as long as they get paid for the job at hand. not every shop is like that of course, but you want to make sure the installer working on your vehicle know what they are doing and has enough experience to back it. i can help you as much as i can with wiring, disassembly, and tuning. try yourself, its not hard, just a bit time comsumming

I can tell you who not to go to. Sound Concepts in Spring Valley. I have never used them, but did buy an F430 from the dealer there and these guys had put a sub in the car using f*&king sheetrock screws!

$250k car they they butchered. I had Rich's Car Tunes in Boston - one of the original installers out there, fix all the work. The car was actually a centerfold in Car Audio Magazine before they folded.

Yea, I've been to KHC for one meet. Cool guys. I'll have my susp. upgrades done there. But they don't seem to advertise much in terms of car audio installation or products.

Holly crap! I would use the same sheetrock screws to screw the installer's hands to his ass, so he never touches another car.
