Removing stock exhaust.

Did you get the muffler over the rear axle and out the rear or bring the tips over the axle and out the front?

I came over the axle and out the front

i worked at it for about a half an hour and finally removed it via this method

I removed the tips then pulled it out the front.

Didn't have to cut mine or lower the spare...just placed an axle jack on the frame and lifted till full droop on rear axle. Unbolted in front of the resonator and slid the assembly out the front. Removing the small resonator pipe helps too...gives you just a little bit more of an angle to clear the rear axle.

Remove the spare and just pull the hangers along with the muffler. 30 or so minutes.
