Hi all,

First post and hoping to get some insight, I’m in the process of buying a newer Raptor to replace my Gen 1. The dealer claimed it was stock but it appears to have a crappy Rough Country lift. Any idea how hard it would be to bring it back down to stock?

Trying to determine if it’s worth the hassle.

To have a shop Remove the shocks, take off weird thing , re install , alignment and do the rear is prob like 750 -1k id say. Mind as well rebuild the shocks while they're off if the truck if its over 50 k miles.

I just took a quick glance at the installation instructions and the most concerning thing to me is the section of the rear a arm pocket for the stock cross member that’s cut out. Not as simple as unbolting parts and reinstalling, would require some fabrication to return to stock.

If you haven’t started the process of purchasing this truck, I would definitely walk away from this one.

Not worth it. As mentioned above the front has been hacked up to install a drop bracket.

Thanks for the insight! The dealer offered a discount but I don’t think it’s worth it based on the feedback. Truly appreciate the help!
