Relocation of Front Camera? Blocked by Aftermarket Bumper

I thought I saw a thread on how to relocate the front camera so it's higher on the grill and can view over aftermarket bumpers.

I added the ADD Honeybadger, which is sweet, but my front camera is at least 50% blocked between the bumper and light bar.

I figure if I can move it from the bottom to the top of the grill, it would at least be functional.

I'm interested in doing this as well. No truck yet but I want to be prepared for when I get it!

ADD posted a picture of the mod. May have been in the aftermarket bumpers thread in the exterior forum, i dont remember where. I dont like that it leaves a hole where the old cam location was. I think the owner was planning on ordering another non cam grille so that he could do the mod again and not have that hole there. So there is one added expense if you dont like the looks of the empty hole.

Also, what was not posted was how the 360* camera view looked after the mod was done. I have a hard time believing that the side views would line up with the front cam view, but until I see that particular picture, its hard to say for sure.

If someone digs up the PN for the non-camera grill, please share. I've only found the 1 grill (with camera hole) so far...

course you could always insert a laser where the empty hole is and wire it to an upfitter. imagine the reaction of that left lane hogger when he gets painted ....

Any answers to the relocation of the front camera.

I'm installing the front ADD Stealth R Bumper and I want to solve the camera issue.
