ok talk about getting screwed........

i just talked to frontier ford about an hour ago. the dealership higher ups have decided that they want more profits on the raptors and will not give me the same price as my previous truck. they are now asking for msrp. i had to decline the offer and now am in the process of finding another dealer here. there are 3 other dealerships that are willing to negotiate with me so i will see who has the best offer.

sorry scotty, i know i got your hopes up. but when i talk to the other dealerships i will see what kind of allocation they have

This is my opinion so take if for what its worth.

1.) Auto sales are way up due to the perception the economy is doing better.
2.) Lots of Ford dealers are getting orders for Raptors they didn't in the past. (There are 5000+ Ford dealerships in the USA)
3.) Ford only builds a limited supply of Raptors.
4.) Dealerships like Redlands who sold a lot of Raptors in the past are going to get less this year due to increased demand across the country.

Old post of mine, I over estimated the number of dealers, I guess its around 3000+, but I don't think I was far off base! Just my 2 cents worth...

I also spoke to a couple dealers and they said Ford was cutting back their allocations this year over last year, but I know that could be BS, Just what I was told....

They keep sending me emails stating otherwise, but when I called I was informed that its MSRP now on orders.
Really lame!
