This project ended up being a lot more than I had hoped for and really tested my patience. My flares and rear applique were heavily stained and had a bunch of scratches and gouges in them. I went back and forth between bed liner, wrap, EFF it or paint... finally settled on just painting them.
I ordered my paint from TouchUpDirect and @Cornwallis was a huge help with some tips and tricks.
I removed the flares and applique. I filled everything with a poly putty, sanded, primed, painted and then cleared.
I still need to do the front grill but I'm debating if I even want to at this point. Beside that, overall I'm really happy with the results. The finish is a tad lighter than OEM but because I did all the trim I wasn't too worried about it.
Figured I'd share since it seems like this comes up a bit.
