I have the recon tail lights as well and they look so sick on our black trucks it just blends in so well. As for the blinker thing I haven't had it happen yet so i don't know if it's an issue with these or not but so far so good. As for the wiring part everything is plug and play easy and simple it does use the stock back up light bulb an housing but I bought some big LED bulbs and threw this in instead ofte stock bulb an that thing is stupid bright when I'm in reverse haha I love these lights

I bought the ones recommended by Recon. Whichever ones they are.
They asked me if i wanted to upgrade to LED's when taking my order.
