I have the icon rxt kit for my gen 1 2010 raptor for the springs I was thinking putting the stage 3 in to have the extra 2” in the rear I don’t have any weight in the back yet but plan on adding it. My question is if I add them in now will I notice any significant difference in ride or hitting bumps than I would at stage 1? I know I can add leaf in later but that seems like a lot of extra work down the road for something I could do now

Increase load capacity means increase in resistance to compression. Weather or not it's going to be "too harsh" is subjective.

Throw them in, tie a few sand bags down in the very back of the bed, call it good. As you add weight remove the bags.
