pretty sure these parts were outside sitting before being thrown into the truck. Seems crappy but for the most part its just looks.

Mine was a fresh, ordered for me, build, and I had that on mine. Easy fix is the Rustoleum Rust Reformer in black. For something inside like that, spray it on a foam paint brush and apply it that way. Super easy to do spot touch ups inside the cab that way. Easy to do and it works really well. I saw that when I did my stereo install.
