When I first saw this, I thought to myself "how much of a pain could it be to release the seat?" After fiddling with it last night, I ordered one today. Silly that a $60k+ truck doesn't come with this, but oh well...

After fiddling with the release a couple of times, I ordered this release. Less than 5 min to install. I appreciate the quality kit and thoughtful design. Nice product!

Is there enough room back there to mount an AR-15 (or similar) with the factory sub?

I don't think so, but I haven't actually tried... if there is enough room, the only way I can see it working is to have the AR in a soft case and squish it between the seat back and the back wall of the cab.
