I apologize if this has been already discussed but I just picked up my Raptor and noticed that there were these orange marking but they are not the same on each side. Can someone tell me what they are and if this is normal?

Cant see them from the inside. I just happen to notice it the other day. My salesman thinks it is the power connection to the defroster but then why does it not match each other?

That is the window defroster grid. It's a mixture of metal/resin with a resistance such that when you apply a voltage to it, it warms up to defrost the window.

As for the difference in patterns, no idea. Maybe they have to meet different impedance for each 1/3 of the window

Not to be a ****, but how is this not common knowledge? Heated defrost elements have been around on vehicles for literally decades...

Thanks for the info guys. I guess I never paid any attention to it before. I also never owned any vehicle that was worth this much money and have been **** about looking at it at every angle making sure it was perfect. Thanks again for the info.
