Pretty limited tools here but was able to remove the panel fairly easy. There was little room in there for the window assembly. All I was able to do was check the connector, pull the front driver switch fuse, and called it a day for TS. I don’t think I could remove the window with the tools I have. Also slammed this week for time.

Just sold our 2nd car too or else would’ve been an easier situation. Oh well could be way worse. Life is still good.
Good attitude bro! :favorites13:

Here's a great video of someone showing how to get the regulator to roll up the window manually on an older gen F150. So you can get the window closed at least til the replacement regulator comes in...

I haven't taken my door panel off to see if it's the same but I doubt the part changed much if at all.

Well I went full Karen today after a couple of days of rain and my truck having to be parked outside. Called Ford Corporate to complain after the dealer said it will likely be 1st week of June to get the part (even though a regulator assembly with motor shows available on Ford Parts for just $30 more than the backordered regulator).

They agreed to get me in today to tape up the window. And guess what.. turns out it actually just needs a new driver switch as it was stuck in open position. They removed one of the pins as a temporary fix. This leads me to believe they probably never took the door panel off in the first place.

So window is finally closed after 2 weeks of driving it like this. Awesome experience with Ford dealers as usual.

Had this same issue while on vacation in Florida. Thankfully found a dealership in Port Richey that was able to get me in that day. Ended up being a burnt out motor that they had to order. Took between 3-4 days after finally figuring out the issue. The Ford Escape loaner was rough.
If you didn't take the loaner on your favorite off road trail I am super disappointed.

Yup, lazy techs as usual or management not giving them the proper time to source the problem. That sucks you've had to wait this long just to get your window up.

Here some info add to this saga The video links posted in this thread helped. I took the panel out and as I’m trying to push window back up. I tried to push window up but it wasn’t going anywhere. Checked contacts plugged and replugged. As i sat thinking for few moments, I noticed it clicking up and down like every 10 seconds or so. I used the oppty to pull window up a tad…..then immediately pull power.
To test, plugged in connector and tried to activate up but window went down. Unplugged and pushed window up again. It’s not got 3 inches at top but better than all the way down. At least i can go to market now.

I know having the window partially down is not ideal but at least you were able to gain some positive results from your actions. Good on ya!

If it's the same issue as mine, it was the driver door master switch stuck on. If you have time just pull the front door panel and find that pin. My rear window works 100% - I just can't use the driver master switch now until the new part comes in.

Wish I would've known sooner instead of them messing and scratching up the rear door panel a bunch.
