This is a Billet badge with bezel painted to match the truck.

That looks good! Is that their standard 7" black w/raptor gray or something custom? Thanks

You only have a few options if you go with a ford emblem. They're only allowed to produce what ford approved.

I had Billet make a custom one for me. Turned out very nice. Took a very long time but product is nice. They had mine done but said it didn't pass inspection so it was redone. I respect delivering quality pruduct instead of speed. They let me know about the delay and kept in touch.

It's all pretty easy... The product info is in post #2.

After that there's 3 bolts on the front to remove the bezel.

Then there should be 3 more bolts/screws on the back to remove the camera.

Use some sand paper to scratch up the surface for the paint to adhere to.

Place the emblem on the bezel to mark the lines and tape it off so the 3m tape isn't sitting in fresh paint. (Don't remove the film)

I used DuPont BUN0100 Universal Black and their clear coat. I didn't want to keep touching it up so I used 7 coats of black and 5 coats of clear. Use some rubbing compound to clean it up if you want, shouldn't have to sand it.

Reinstall the bezel, wait about 24-48 hrs so it can dry and isn't tacky.

Remove the film and you only get one shot. Apply pressure on the emblem so the tape adheres to the bezel.

Good luck!

I got a custom one made from Billet Badges. The poweder coated it black and grey for the Longhorn and outer ring. The grey matches perfect to the Raptor emblem and fender flares. Good quality and no signs of wear on the paint after a little over 1 year being parked outside 2 blocks from the beach. I painted the outside chrome part with bedliner and it has held up perfect!
