Thats my plan.

My concern with Line-x is that it does a good job of protecting the underneath side of the wheel well at the bed. It doesnt do anything to the inside of the bed box (in front of and behind the rear wheel). A liner would have prevent crap from beating on the inside of the box.

Does anyone disagree?

Since technically I dont own one yet, I didnt really know what it looked like in the rear wheel wells. Many trucks have nothing in the front of the well wells. The back side of the sheet metal is completely exposed to gravel from the tires. I stopped and looked at one on the lot and the raptor is completely different. There is a lot of steel around the wheels. Line-x will work great.

I had my wheel wells Line-X'd shortly after I bought my truck. I like it much better than a plastic liner and appears to protect better as well. It still looks new and is very easy to clean.

I had mine LineX'ed. Not the flares, just the wheel wells. Both rear for $250. And I don't think you can beat the protection from it.

It even covers the little rod that helps support the bed, which I've seen rusted through on several older trucks before. Very glad I did it, and I think LineX would be a better choice than plastic inserts.
