Here's what my intentions are... After making the video I did learn that I will be able to get rid of the sync switch so all I will have is the main power switch (AUX 4) and two pattern switches. I ordered a momentary on/off/on switch so I can utilize one switch for both pattern wires.

Id like to rewire mine in a way so I can have constant on with a swtich and then are still able to have them flash with a second switch.

The way these are setup it wouldn't be hard. I'm probably going to mount the pattern switch in the rear of the cab on the drivers side. Rear facing it's hard to cycle patterns when you can't see them. This way I could stand outside and watch them while I reach inside and cycle to the pattern I want real quick.

Whelen makes a flasher that can do this. The flasher normally blinks but when you hit an over ride button that turns it to steady. Hit up Jimmy at WSI if you want one I think its less than 100 bucks.

I think that would require a different light? The way these are wired I can't see them just switching directly between steady and alternating flash. The flasher module is in the wiring.

That would work if you want them constantly on but these things are bright enough I wouldn't want to run them non stop.
