Lot of info from left field....
No rear E-Locker at all in any 2wd setting/mode
Rear should stay locked at any speed in Baja 4wd mode
Rear will unlock if going from Baja 4wd mode to Baja 2wd
Rear will unlock at higher speeds in Mud/Sand mode (please don't quote me but seems like I saw a chart that claimed unlocking at 45 mph plus)

You can manually dis-able Traction Control in any mode.
You can manually dis-able Stability Control in any mode by holding button down for 5-6 seconds.

Certain modes will decrease the TC activity, like Mud/Sand, BUT there is some still left. Same goes for the ABS, as ABS on dirt gets behind in its homework and doesn't work correctly in the dirt.
Baja Mode reduces the ABS, TC, and SC the most...BUT there is still some lurking around...:)

However, Gen 2 trucks cannot stay locked at high speeds like the Gen 1 trucks can.

False. Not surprising a Gen 1 hater has misinformation about the Gen 2.

And I wouldn't advise Baja 2H except in very special situations. I get more slide in my Gen 2 in Baja 4H than my Gen 1 friends get in 2wd with weight in the bed (check my youtube playlist if you don't believe me), and most of them are supercharged. We have a much higher power-to-weight ratio, so the back end breaks loose much more quickly.

Your exhibit shows the following in plain English "ELECTRONIC LOCKING DIFFERENTIAL (4x4 only)" and "AVAILABLE BELOW 25 MPH" for the 2WD modes.

Where does that chart or anything else in the entire world show that a Gen 2 raptor can lock the diff in 2WD and keep it locked at all speeds?

Are you saying you can put it in Baja mode, lock the diff, then switch to 2WD and it stays locked above 25 MPH?

Stop changing the goalposts. Your original quote:

However, Gen 2 trucks cannot stay locked at high speeds like the Gen 1 trucks can.

Which is false (immediately apparent to anyone that can read). That said, it is true the locker cannot be used in 2H. Not that you'd want to in a Gen 2. Even if you were carrying rated capacity in the bed you'd still be lighter in the back end than a moderately loaded Gen 1, and with more torque to boot. Ever driven a Gen 2 in Baja 2H? You spin in circles. Baja 4H is much faster, safer, and allows for all the slide you want, provided you can drive.

I've ridden in nearly the full gamut of trucks by now. I'm not really convinced 2H locked is the fastest way to go around the track for even a modified Gen 1*. I KNOW it isn't the fastest way to go for a Gen 2, and I am also certain my Gen 2 slides more in 4H than the Gen 1 does in 2H locked. Again, I've got the videos to prove it.

*Obviously not once you've drastically changed suspension dynamics for weight transfer considerations, but those trucks are in a different class at that point.

The difference is 2WD. You can lock up the rear in 2WD in a Gen 1 and let it rip.

You are limited to like 15 MPH max in a Gen 2 in 2WD or something like that. You can't turn on "baja mode" without getting 4WD, and you aren't going to be able to do a burnout in 4WD, or huge 90 MPH powerslides in the dirt.

I’m guessing There’s a reason....gen2 has torque, lots of it, & that 510 factory # jumps up another 20-30 just running 93 octane on an otherwise stock vehicle, did ford engineers also consider the potential for owners to tune their trucks making considerably more power? Maybe

It would seem that everyone agrees a 2 wheel burnout is not possible in any mode or setting in the dry with a stock rear diff.

So is the ken block video not showing two wheels moving or does he have a different rear end in that truck?

Uh...not really....some vehicles spin both wheels without any diff aids..in the dirt both wheels spin just about all the time, and kicking the rear out in corners (TC off) happens all the time...

...........But in the dry, on pavement, it is a one wheel spinning machine.
