Just mounted these lights last night, not a bad install at all if you're not shy about drilling your bumper.
Thought i'd post up a few pics.
Got it done in about 3 hrs.
tools:
2" hole saw (metal)
tape/razor blade
a few metal drill bits
center punch/hammer
good primer
something to clean up the burs after the hole is cut.
Sorry, didn't take a good pic of the naked parts....
Here you can see it's close to the cross brace, but pretty much wide open behind the stock bumper.
Drilling,
So I just held up the bezel where I liked it, marked the hole, measured it to match other side, then put up the paper to punch the holes.
One thing I would suggest is to pre-drill all holes with a good 1/8" drill bit after punching. Larger bits tend to wander off the mark a bit if you go from punch to final diameter.
Trim the tape back with a razor, mask it a bit and spraypainted front and back.
I think it matches the bumper really well.
Wiring these and a few others this weekend.
